Our lead pastors, Shaun and Teresa Blakeney have a heart to see revival happen in South Florida and all over the world! They believe that Jesus is using His church to accomplish the mission of bringing hope to the hopeless and Anchor Church is acting as just a small part of that big picture. They believe that the church is God’s ‘Plan A’ for radical transformation in the hearts of people all over the globe and that there is no ‘Plan B’.

LOVE LAVISHLY
Lavish means “to bestow something in generous or extravagant quantities”. We will be a church that pours love on people. We won't show you love because of what you have done, but because of WHO YOU ARE. At Anchor Church you won’t get sprinkled with love, you’ll be showered in it.
GIVE GENEROUSLY
Generosity is when we give more than is required. At Anchor Church, we don’t see giving as a “we have to”, but instead as a “we get to”. We are generous with all our time, talents and treasures so that we can give back to God who had been overwhelmingly generous to us.
SERVE SACRIFICIALLY
If you are too big to serve, then you are too small to lead. We believe you are never more like Jesus than when you serve. At Anchor Church, we believe serving others is the greatest for of leadership. We will always serve and put others first as we strive to be more like Jesus.
WORSHIP WHOLEHEARTEDLY
We believe worship is who we are, not just what we do. Worship is expressing reverence and adoration to something greater than ourselves. In life we will all worship something. At Anchor Church, we have chosen to worship God, the creator, with our whole being.
PURSUE PASSIONATELY
Every single thing we do at Anchor Church is done with passion and excellence. Passion drives us. But there is nothing we will have more passion for than following after Jesus. Our pursuit is to become more like Him every single day.

OUR BELIEFS
THE BIBLE
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is accurate, authoritative, and applicable to our everyday lives. [2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Proverbs 30:5, Romans 16:25-26]
GOD
We believe that God is our creator and maker. He is eternal and He revealed Himself as on God existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. [Exodus 3:14, Numbers 23:19, Leviticus 11:44-45, Psalm 11:4-6, Colossians 1:16-17]
SALVATION
We believe that we receive salvation, the forgiveness of our sins and reconciliation to God, by grace through faith in Jesus. [John 14:6, Acts 16:3, Romans 10:9-10, Ephesians 2:8-9, Galatians 2:16, 3:8, Titus 3:5, Hebrews 9:22]
THE CHURCH
We believe that Jesus established and is building His Church. God’s plan is that all believers regularly meet together for worship, fellowship, service and instruction in the Word of God. [John 17:11, Ephesians 1:22, 2:19-22, 4:16]
JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. Jesus was fully God and fully man. Jesus is the only One that can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross in our place, rose again to life, and ascended to heaven. [Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:18-23, Romans 5:8, John 3:16]
HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that soon after Jesus rose from the dead, Jesus sent His Holy Spirit to empower the church and give spiritual gifts. The Holy Spirit assures us of our relationship with God. He guides us into truth, comforts us, and convicts us of sin when we get off course. [1 Corinthians 2:12, 2 Corinthians 3:17, John 14:16-17, Acts 1:8, Ephesians 1:13, Galatians 5:25]
BAPTISM
We believe in water immersion baptism for every believer who has surrendered their heart to Jesus Christ. [1 Peter 3:21, Acts 10:48, Acts 12:4-8, Acts 22:16]
SPIRITUAL GIFTS
We believe that the Holy Spirit is demonstrated through a variety of spiritual gifts to build and bless the church and confirm the power of the Gospel. [Hebrews 2:4, Romans 1:11, 12:4-8, Ephesians 4:16, 2 Timothy 1:15-16, 4:14}
THE TRINITY
We believe God has existed since the beginning of time. He exists as three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Even though each member of the Trinity serves different functions, they each have equal power and authority. [Colossians 2:2-3, 1 John 5:7, Genesis 1:26, Matthew 3:16-17]
SIN
We believe that sin has separated each one of us from God and His purpose for our lives. [Romans 3:23, 6:23, Psalm 51:5, 1 John 1:8-10]
ETERNITY
We believe that each person will exist eternally. Whether we spend eternity with God or separated from Him is determined by our response to the grace and salvation of Jesus Christ. [John 3:16, 1 John 5:11-13, John 14:2-3, 1 John 2:25, Romans 6:23, Revelations 20:15]
CHRIST’S RETURN
We believe that Jesus will come back again for His Church. [1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Hebrews 9:28, Revelation 1:7, 1 John 14:3, Matthew 16:27]
